This means you may have to farm out the FATE chain a bit before the boss shows up. However, completing the two prior FATEs will not spawn the boss guaranteed. You will typically have to do two FATEs that spawn one after another, finishing with the boss FATE. You cannot reach the boss FATEs if you can’t fly there (though a kind player can caddy you there with a multi-person mount).īoss FATEs are the final parts of FATE chains.
Note that before you even start getting into the boss FATEs, you should have a level 90 combat job and the ability to fly in Ultima Thule and Thavnair unlocked. Most people will want to hunt down Chi and Daivadipa so they can get Chi Bolts and Daivadipa’s Beads, which allow you to get the Level Checker mount and Wind-up Daivadipa minion, respectively.
